“Life is Transformation”

I’m passionate about health, fitness and strength. I believe that overall well being extends beyond muscle definition and outward appearance. Being strong internally is imperative. This industry is in my heart, and I’ve dedicated my heart and soul to helping clients achieve their goals.
I’ve been involved in the fitness and nutrition fields for over 20 years. And while I was certified in personal training, and trained clients part time, my full time job was an account executive in the stressful sales/marketing environment. I’m an avid runner and weight trainer who loves to unwind by lifting weights at the gym, or hit the outside trails for a long run. I compete in 5k’s (currently training for a half marathon), and train in mixed martial arts. I love the way exercise makes me feel strong, healthy and peaceful, but had never thought to pursue it as a full time career.
When my mom passed away a few years ago from complications with Diabetes, I decided to re-evaluate my life and turn my passion for health and fitness into a career that gave me the opportunity to make a difference in someone’s life. I wanted to help other people get healthy, stay motivated, and turn their lifestyles around so they felt better overall – inside and out. So I headed back to school to study Anatomy and Physiology, Psychology, Nutrition and completed additional personal training certifications so I could start my own training company. My logo, the dragonfly, is in honor of my mom. She loved their grace and they signify “transformation”, and my name is after my dad. The two people who have meant so much to me and taught me to follow my dreams with integrity and passion are a part of what I do everyday.
That being said, it takes an enormous amount of discipline and determination to transform your life, and you, as a client, have to be just as responsible and committed as I am in achieving the results you desire. I do not believe in fad diets or what I call “drive thru personal training”. If you feel weak or unhealthy inside, it doesn’t matter how toned or in shape you are on the outside. I believe that programs must be personalized and changed often in order to keep motivation levels high, so that your exercise program will not only strengthen your outward appearance, but how you feel inside about yourself.
I have earned both a Master in Personal Training Certification and a Sports Nutrition Certification through the American Sports and Fitness Association, in addition to various certifications through the International Sports Sciences Association. My focus is on general personal training for health, lifestyle and weight loss; sport specific training; plyometrics; stress management; special health care needs; sports and general nutrition, rehabilitation. I also practice yoga, conduct boot camps and study mixed martial arts.
“This isn’t a dress rehearsal. This is real work, real sweat and possibly real tears. I don’t promise results – I expect them.”
Studies show that people looking to improve their fitness and improve their health achieve significantly greater results when using a personal trainer. An effective personal trainer will guide you, motivate you, and educate you. Trainers provide knowledge, accountability and discipline. A good trainer will help you avoid injuries by teaching technique and patience.
I offer private training sessions in my one on one fitness studio located in the Lehigh Valley, just south of Allentown, at 21 North Main Street, Suite #6, Coopersburg PA. My goal is to design a well rounded training program that keeps you motivated and working hard, with continual results. Each programs is fine tuned to the clients’ individual lifestyle. If you prefer to be trained in the privacy of your own home, I can provide that service as well. Please email me through my contact form, or call me at 610.751.7733.
